Yes, I have make significane contributions to UK unemployment rate this year! My paretns stop asking me ' have you got yourself a job?' after i tied my knot last month.
Infact. sources from today's newspaper told me that graduates in the UK are faced with fewer job opportunities and lower salries than their counterparts elsewhere in the English- speaking world. To be specified, the sourcdes is from the report by the Association of Graduate Recruiters, yes, our dearest (AGR).
The UK recorded the highest number of applicatns for each graduate vacancy:48, compared with 43 in Oz and 40 ins South Afrika. !!The average UK graduate starting salary stands at 25,000 pounds more than 3000 pounds less than in Aust and Canada and 4000 less than in America. Graduate salaries in HK were by far the highest in the survey, with university leavers starting in a range of 30.000 -42.000 pounds. while south africa was the lowest with 9000 poudns on average.
Sadly, in 2009, one in four graduate vacancies disappeared, yet uk still have the highest number of graduates coming into the market. thus, can you please tell me it is the employees' or employers' market? I choose the latter as it makes the job of choosing the right candidate even more challenging when there are so many applicatns.
